JOINT THERAPEUTICS COURSE

Over the weekend I expanded the tool box and did a joint therapeutics course with !! Had so much fun, lots of learning and now so much more I can offer in my treatments to help those I see move closer to a pain free lifestyle!
Being able to implement these techniques into clinic straight away has been a game changer

It’s doing things like this that make me love my job even more🧠
Forever learning and expanding the tool kit to drive results 📈

Also met some pretty cool people in the industry 🔥

CLIENT SPOTLIGHT 🧑🏻

Rhian sees me for monthly maintenance treatments to keep his body in check especially as his job is manual labour dominant.
The aim of our treatments are to settle any areas of tension and discomfort as well as restoring range and mobility.

I find combing hands on treatment and functional cupping works great especially for those who work a desk job or tradies.

The last common mistake I see is foot Pressure!

when doing RDL’s I always suggest to do them bare foot. This is so that you can feel the ground and pressure which you would not feel when wearing shoes.
In the first video we can see the toes coming up from the ground. This is because the foot is unable to feel the ground to be able to apply an even pressure.

In the second video we can see that with no shoes we can apply a tripod foot pressure, and the entire foot stays glued to the ground.

A tripod foot pressure are 3 points of the foot. Big toe, little toe and heel.
By doing this we receive feedback from the foot being able to place pressure into the ground without a shoe or uneven surface getting in the way!
