ginning with tips & overlays, Refills, Manicures & Pedicures in Williamstown, after my training in Williamstown I move on to St Albans to learn the old art of Sculpting fingernails continuing to perfect my skills in refills and learning to do backfills which is forever French. After working and training in the industry for a few years I decided it was time to take the opportunity to start my own business. With the mission of keeping the artistry of Sculpting Acrylic nails alive, I opened Naughty Nail by Jo in 1992 in Williamstown and after sharing my business in hair salons over a couple of years I became one of the first nail shops to open in Altona at Summers Parade for 4 years. Since moving on from being in my own shop, I have had the opportunity over the years to travel and do nails in not just Melbourne, but Canada, Malta, and Scotland and study to acquire my Certificate 4 in Training & Assessment. Over the years I have cared for many fingernails/toenails hands & feet that have belonged to the most loyal and wonderful clients and there isn't a hand-fingernail or foot-toenail that I can't make beautiful. Having a Manicure every few weeks or once a month along with Pedicures every 4 to 6 weeks will keep your hands & feet looking beautiful. The old artistry of Sculpting nails keeps this skill alive and shows that when done correctly Acrylic nails can look beautiful and natural. Acrylic is one of the best artificial nail enhancements you can have when Acrylic is done with care to the nail and after having your full set put on the upkeep is every 2 to 3 weeks for your refills and every 2nd for your backfill if you wish to have that forever French look.
