Too many times my patients (and myself) have walked out of a GP’s office with only a few scant tests in hand.

You’ve been struggling with the same symptoms for months, and your GP prescribes random antibiotics or antidepressants without even taking the time to check whether they’re the right choice. When you think about it, these aren’t lollies to throw around. These medications affect your microbiome, your gut symptoms, and overall inflammation in your body.

You deserve better care.

As a naturopath, I help you connect the dots 🩺 I look at your symptoms, your health history, and the lab markers most likely to give us meaningful answers, so we can make informed decisions together.

✨ It is your right to feel heard, supported, and to better understand your own body.

Before you start blaming your food, your sensitive tummy, your star sign ask yourself why your body is reacting this way 👀

I often see people cutting out foods like broccoli, oats, beans, or saurkraut because they cause bloating or discomfort. The food isn’t the real problem.

When gut, digestion, or immune system is out of balance, even the healthiest foods can trigger symptoms.

Avoiding more and more foods will bring you nowhereexcept more dysbiosis and digestive issues. I prefer to look for the root cause. That’s where real healing begins 🌿

💚 Follow me for more evidence-informed naturopathic tips to help you understand what your body is really trying to tell you.

Before you spend money on every test under the sun, I always recommend checking these markers first for my patients

• CRP – shows if there’s active inflammation in your body.
• ESR – helps identify ongoing, long-term inflammation.
• CBC – can reveal signs that your immune system is under stress.
• Ferritin – high levels may reflect inflammation, not just iron stores.
• Vitamin D – low levels are incredibly common in people with immune dysfunction.
• B12 & Folate – deficiencies can contribute to fatigue and neurological symptoms.
• ANA – a useful screening marker if an autoimmune condition is suspected.

These tests won’t give you a diagnosis, but they can tell you whether your body is asking for a closer look.

Save this so you know where to start before spending money on unnecessary testing 📌

I’m less interested in isolated symptoms and more interested in the pattern behind them .
That pattern is often where the real story begins, especially for women who have been told everything is normal while still feeling far from well .
My ebook From Flare to Flow was written to help women understand that process more clearly and take the first steps with more confidence .
Comment ebook and I’ll send it through 🫶🏻

✨ Most women got used to ignore their symptoms… but your body is always trying to tell you something.

Brain fog, constant fatigue, bloating after every meal, sugar cravings or needing coffee just to function aren’t things you should simply accept.

The sooner you understand what your body is telling you, the easier it is to support your health naturally 💚

Save this so you don’t forget these facts, and follow for more evidence-based tips on women’s health! 🌿

But remember: labs give you a name, not the root cause. True healing starts by finding “what” is driving the inflammation and repairing your gut.

Brain fog is not something existing by itself. It stems from adrenal, nutrient deficiencies and low grade inflammation silently firing up your body.

If you’ve noticed you’re forgetting words, struggling to focus or feeling mentally exhausted, it can be a sign that your inflammation is increasing and your body needs support.

Focus on improving gut health because that’s where a huge part of immune regulation begins.

Supporting the gut can help reduce inflammation and, over time, ease symptoms like brain fog.

If you’d like to learn the approach I use with my patients, comment EBOOK below and I’ll send you my book “From Flare to Flow”, where I explain how to support your gut health and reduce autoimmune symptoms naturally 💚

Feeling exhausted every day, no matter how much you sleep, is a big red flag 👀

Especially, if fatigue is often accompanied by other clues: hair loss, brain fog, digestive symptoms, dizziness, heavy periods, poor recovery after exercise or needing caffeine just to get through the day.

Some of the factors I commonly investigate are ferritin, thyroid function, nutrient deficiencies, blood sugar, sleep quality and autoimmune disease.

Fatigue is one of the most common symptoms I see, but it's also one of the most commonly dismissed.

✨ Which of these signs do you relate to most?

Fatigue is one of the most common reasons people seek support in my clinic 😴

And while herbs can be incredibly helpful, they’re never the first thing I think about.

Before recommending any herbal support, I want to understand why someone is feeling fatigued in the first place.

Low ferritin, thyroid dysfunction, nutrient deficiencies, poor sleep quality, blood sugar fluctuations, chronic stress and autoimmune disease can all contribute to low energy.

Once we understand what’s driving the fatigue, herbs can become a valuable part of a personalised plan 🌿

The herbs in this post are some of the ones I commonly use in practice, but the right choice depends on the person sitting in front of me.

✨ Have you tried any of these herbs before? I’d love to know which ones have helped you.
