Frank Sinatra's favorite alcohol beverage was a Jack & Coke. Some pals of Frank got him into drinking it sometime in the 1940s, and ever since then, it became his go-to drink at bars, casinos and nightclubs. Jack Daniel was a good old hillbilly. He passed away in 1911. Jack's nephew, Lem Motlow, took over the business after his death. The nephew died in 1947, and his son Robert Motlow took it over until calling it quits in 1955. After that, it became a huge corporation. The following year, Frank spoke openly about his love of JD and even endorsed the liquor during a performance. Because of that, by the end of 1956, Jack Daniel's sold about 300,000 cases. In 1998, Frank passed away and had a bottle of Jack Daniel's buried with him. The corporation was so appreciative of all the free publicity he gave them that they eventually named one of their bottles after Frank in 2013, calling it Sinatra Select. Sinatra Select has quickly become a favorite bottle of many collectors. It was sold in a very sturdy gift box and came with a small booklet explaining the relationship between Jack Daniel’s Whiskey and Frank Sinatra. 🇮🇹
