Feeling inspired by 2026 is 2016

looking back on my journey and what it meant to be a nail artist starting out… the part I loved most was staying up late until 5 am sometimes 🤣 thinking of strange conceptual ideas practising different techniques working all night on a set of nails to then sleep a few hours in the day and do a photo shoot the next afternoon 🤣

I loved being a night owl working on art being inspired by other artists buzzing with the ideas of working with different businesses, brands & content creators that became a dream come true. it was an exciting new time!

now in 2026 I’m reminded of that same creative spark to push myself into areas that I truly love… keep creating and the rest follows ✨💫

What I do to maintain Soft Gel Overlay nails 💅🏼

✨ I only do a soak off when there is a need to do so

✨ I file to refine instead of chasing a “perfect/flat” surface this keep structure & strength prevents damage From overfilling & creating “weak points”

✨ I keep most clients on a 3-4 week appointment schedule, not 5-6 This prevents unnecessary nail damage

✨ I ask about habits, work, then build a service & set of nails around their lifestyle

✨ I teach clients that their choices between appointments matter as much as my service to maintain beautiful nails
