This kind of blonde is a labour of love — an on scalp lightening service that requires consistent maintenance every 5–6 weeks to keep the blonde bright, seamless and healthy from roots to ends.

For Tia’s finish, we kept the tone soft, creamy and shiny using Wella Professionals Illumina:

To help maintain the integrity of her hair throughout the lightening process, I used Olaplex alongside the Wella Professionals Ultimate Smooth range, leaving her hair feeling soft, glossy and strong 🤍

Today was such a fun one in the salon ✨

Tayah finally decided to do her first colour AND a big chop — and donated 22cms to help those experiencing hair loss through cancer treatment 🫶

We created a soft warm mushroom brunette using a mix of babylights + teasy foils with BlondorPlex + 13% for a seamless, expensive lived-in finish.

A new chapter for Opia Hair & Beauty 🤍

After a lot of research, working behind the scenes and some very late nights, we’ve officially transitioned to Wella Professionals and are now proudly a 100% Wella salon.

This decision was about so much more than just changing colour brands. For me, it was important to partner with a company that aligns with the level of quality, innovation and education I want to continue bringing into the salon.

We are already absolutely loving the results we’re creating in salon. From soft lived-in blondes to bright creamy blondes, glossing, grey coverage and healthier-looking hair, the shine, condition and longevity has been incredible.

We also now have Wella retail available in salon, including professional haircare, treatments and styling products to help maintain your colour and keep your hair feeling its best between appointments.

We created a gentle lived-in colour using soft dimension and natural tones for the ultimate “grow out beautifully” hair. The goal was expensive-looking colour without the high maintenance upkeep ✨

No harsh lines, no obvious regrowth and no need for another appointment for up to 6 months. Just soft ribbons of brightness, healthy shine and hair that still looks beautiful months later.
