Well what a year 2020 has been! I wanted to thank all of my lovely clients for their continued support especially after the year we have had. I was hoping to return to work before maternity leave, but unfortunately Victorian COVID-19 restrictions prevented that from happening.
I wanted to let you know that I am now officially on maternity leave and taking some time to relax before our baby boy arrives 👶🏼 💙
I will definitely be back & promise to let you all know when I return 💙

One of my peers shared this pic today. He raises a valid point. Often I'm inboxed with pictures from Instagram or Pinterest along with a request for a price quote. What MANY do not realize is that a LOT of what's on IG or Pinterest are NOT "Standard Salon" Nails completed in "standard time of 1-2hrs". Longer nails with complex art can be anywhere from 2 to as many as 6hrs long or MORE to produce. Ladies and gents... time is money. Nail techs, like any other industry are paid by the hour. Further to that, the more experience and the more training a Nail Tech has, the higher their hourly rate is (just like any other industry: there's a pay scale and that scale increases with experience and skill) Food for thought when you're asking for complex designs that are freehanded ;-)

It is with great sadness that I am writing this but due to my recent health complications & the close proximity to others in which I work, I will be suspending all of my salon services due to the COVID-19 virus effective immediately.
I am very sorry to do this, but I think it is in the best interest for everyone at this stage. Hopefully I will only need to close for a few weeks, but at this stage I just can’t say.
I will be definitely be back & I will hopefully see you all again very soon.

So if you are feeling unwell, have a temperature or runny nose please contact me to reschedule your appointment. I’m doing my best to keep my salon & myself germ free as I don’t wish to fall ill or pass anything onto any of my clientele. It’s a lot easier to reschedule 1 appointment than reschedule 2 weeks of clients. Thank you for understanding xx
