Things no one told me would happen when I became a small‑batch, boutique skincare producer..

1️⃣ That I am now basically a shift worker. Production days often start at 10pm — it’s a whole new lifestyle.

2️⃣ That I would never again have beautiful, long, manicured nails. They will forever look… questionable.

3️⃣ That my coffee consumption would go from “dependence” to full‑blown addiction.

4️⃣ That I wouldn’t truly understand what aching muscles are until standing for days on end, lifting heavy equipment, and batching nonstop.

5️⃣ That I’d spend hours alone with my own thoughts — solving the world’s problems one batch at a time… thank god for Spotify.
