Happy new yr everyone
Salon has been closed since Christmas Day and sadly I have not had a great start to 2026. My health needs to be better managed so to do that I have to reduce my hrs long term.
I can not maintain the hrs I was doing and be the best version of me so please respect my hrs and my time. I will not be working outside of these hrs so please don’t ask.
I will not be taking on any new clients and will only be working on those clients that respect my time and turn up on time.
I understand that sometimes things are out of our control and may cause u to be late and that’s completely understandable but those that are continuously late will be removed from my client base.
It’s time for me to only keep those clients that don’t drain my soul as I focus on my own health and happiness.
Sorry if this upsets anyone but this is what’s best for me right now xx

The past few weeks both myself and Ruby have worked an insane amount of hrs- a whopping 70hrs just last week 😳
Many tears from exhaustion and pain, was very overwhelming at times, but we survived and that’s all thanks to such an amazing and supportive client base.. thank you to each and everyone of you that have supported me throughout this yr. It has definitely been tough, but thanks to all of you and your love and support both myself and Ruby have made it thru the crazy yr that 2025 has been. Salon is now closed and we will be back open on Tuesday the 13th of January.. have a safe and happy Christmas and new yrs and I look forward to seeing you all in 2026 # #

Living with a rare autoimmune disease that is not under control is not easy, I am doing my very best to push thru all this pain and try to fit all my lovely clients in, sadly there has been 2 days in the past 2 weeks where I have had to close shop and rest, sadly there has been a client or 2 that have not been understanding, it’s sad that there are some humans that can’t appreciate how hard it has been on my body, not only in a flare and working in a world of pain whilst being short staffed and working Upto 50hrs a week just to try keep everyone happy. This isn’t a pity post by any means, I’m just really appreciative to all that have been supportive and understanding that I am human and I can only push myself so far before I break. To those few that haven’t been understanding I wish you well with your search for a new salon. I’m not sad about it just disappointed. Lucky for me I truly do love my career.. or I would so quit. Working on your feet 10 + hrs is not easy… try doing it day after day whilst in a world of pain.. a little bit of compassion from time to time isn’t to much to ask…, arhhhhh
