I designed this home using just one 40ft shipping container. Is it perfect? Probably not. I know the design still feels a little simple, and there are definitely areas that could be improved. But that's exactly why I wanted to share it.

Personally, I think the garden and pool are what bring this home to life. A container alone can feel cold and industrial, but adding greenery, flowers, and water completely changes the atmosphere into something warm and relaxing.

The dollhouse floor plan focuses on making every square meter count. It has an open living area, kitchen, bathroom, and a private bedroom - all within a single container. Small, but functional.

Now I'm curious...

What would you improve first?
Would you redesign the facade, change the floor plan, add a roof, make the garden bigger, or do something completely different?

I also know container homes aren't practical everywhere. In some countries, shipping containers are very expensive, making this type of home hard to justify. If that's the case where you live, don't focus on the container itself.

Instead, take inspiration from the layout, landscaping, and overall design concept, then adapt those ideas to whatever materials you'll use for your own dream home.
