So many mixed emotions right now iβm sure and all of them are completely justified, iβm happy to be that annoying guy that is always trying to be positive ππΌββοΈ & i have my moments but try using a check list like this, if i wake up feeling deflated and trapped i try at least get outside for a walk with the kids or eat some yummy food. Try write down a few things you love doing and can look forward too or a few off the list. Remember to reach out and talk about how youβre feeling it really helps π€ love you all iβm here if you need me and stay strong we got this πͺπΌ...... again

Feeling this especially this year π€ grateful to be safe with my beautiful family. - This year has been financially & emotionally hard for many so letβs try not to add the stress that tends to come with Christmas, iβm a firm believer that itβs not about the presents you bring itβs about the love, happiness and laughter.. spending it with those we love dearly and for me, creating memories for our kids. So pop a bottle of bubbles and enjoy it with your nearest and dearest π₯ because we can.... and thatβs something in its self this year π€π

R YOU OK ?? & if youβre not itβs OK to admit it. In our dark moments the light is harder to see, but i promise itβs there & so are people to talk to. NO judgement. this is such an important day to raise awareness for mental health but if we can start practicing checking in and asking these questions regularly, specially in this current time of isolation the difference could be a life. Remember YOU are BEAUTIFUL, LOVED, CARED FOR & to a lot of people you are their whole entire world π for today letβs stop our debating about whatβs right and wrong in the world & just ask all the loved ones in your life- are doing okay? Check in, share a beautiful quote , a funny one , some yellow to brighten your newsfeed. We got this β¨I am always here for anyone with arms wide open. I have two beautiful children, an amazing husband, a wonderful house and perfect friends and family and i still have βdownβ days, i am lucky enough to be able to focus on the positives and force myself into nature on those days to make myself feel better but i know the feeling of not being able to do that. physically and mentally not being able to see those positives. we have all been there and some still are there, just know you are not alone. chances are someone close to you feels the exact same. So have the conversations, ask for help because i can guarantee you the person right next to you wants to help so badly but has no idea you need it. πππππππππππ LOVE TO YOU ALL.

ALWAYS π» i believe a big step towards happiness is learning self love & having the ability to control your emotions. Learning how to accept a negative,sad, jealous or unwanted emotion, realise why we feel it then let it go and replace it with a positive one. We need to feel all these emotions as they teach us so many lessons π€ Self love unfortunately these days is not easy to have- start practicing looking in the mirror and thinking β i am beautiful, powerful and the world is lucky to have meβ & then write a list of all the things you like about yourself. I know these are tricky things to learn but with time and practice once achieved there is nothing you canβt doππ»π¦π¦ππ« step into that power within, take on the challenge to truly fall in love with beautiful YOU, because thereβs no one else like YOU π«

π« Iβm sure iβm not the only one who has the mum guilts. Are they getting enough nutrients, did they have fun today, are they learning enough, happy enough, had too much screen time, the list could go on. Iβve slowly learnt that you can only do your best as a mumma and the unconditional love you give them is all they want, trying your best is all you can do and not being hard on yourself and embracing every moment - highs and lows is the most important. They grow so quickly, hug tighter, stress less and remember to look after you as wellβ¨I could cry thinking about how quickly the time has gone but the game changer for me was when i let go of the perfect parenting βexpectationsβ and just went with the flow. On those harder days i remind myself, one day they wonβt need me to pick them up and cuddle them or fall asleep with them or wipe the tears away and suddenly iβll want to do those harder days over and over. Give yourself a hug (or wine) Mummas π€ youβre doing an amazing job β¨ & donβt ever hesitate to give yourself some self care, your batteries need re charging too!

Letβs talk about post iso anxiety π€ things are returning back to the way they were, i donβt doubt we are all super excited to see our loved ones again but feeling anxious is completely normal. For me i really loved isolation, i learnt to fall in love with mother nature again, worked on myself in many ways and appreciated all the little things in life. The pressure of feeling like you have to be doing something all the time wasnβt there, big catch ups, events and even going to work. It is completely OK to take it slow, there is still a virus around so if you want to take things easy please do so. I have taken this as a learning curve, we do not have to go back to the βnormβ do what sits right with your soul. Say no, stay home, continue your nature walks, online shop- whatever you loved about iso doesnβt have to change and youβre so not alone in those feelings. hopefully we all learnt that there is no right or βnormalβ way to live, donβt worry about what others think if being a lil hermet is how you like to live thatβs fine and the people around you love you for you so donβt feel pressure thatβs not there β¨ Be happy and do YOU - i will keep you beautiful people updated with my opening date soon
