Happy New Year!

I’m back in my studio today, helping everyone feel gorgeous for their New Year’s Eve plans. Whether that’s heading out or sitting on the lounge with a glass of bubbles and pizza (my personal favourite NYE tradition), I hope everyone has a fabulous evening.

I’m now back and working my usual opening hours:

Tuesday 9am–8pm.
Wednesday 9am–8pm.
Thursday 9am–8pm.

When the gorgeous Emma came to me, her hair was a mix of orange and pale green tones in her foils from a salon visit just a week prior. It was definitely not the look she wanted. A full colour correction was needed to save this hair. Every strand got my full attention. Now Emma has a stunning colour with zero trace of the old copper hues. See below how I achieved this makeover. - Gabrielle xx

Formula:
- Picked out every previous blonde foil using easy lift 7 lightener + free style lift lightener + bond rebuilder + 5vol 1:2 mix.
- While foils process used 7.12 + 5.1 + 5vol 1:1.5 mix in between to make sure the hair is saturated and no copper shows through. Processed for 35 minutes.
- Toner root melt 7.1+ 5.1 + 5vol 1:1 mix. Toner mid blend 6 + 7.21 + 5 vol 1:1.5 mix. Toner ends 9MRC + 9 + 10.13 + 5vol + bond rebuilder 1:3 mix. Processed for 20 minutes.
- Finished with scalp and fibre restorer massaged in for 5 minutes at the basin.

Recommended home care:
- Alfaparf milano balancing low shampoo.
- Alfaparf milano diamond conditioner.
- Alfaparf milano keratin serum.

A full head of back to back teasy lights on the beautiful Madison. We wanted something super low maintenance while still achieving a bright, creamy blonde. - Gabrielle xx

Formula:
- Full head of teasy lights. Teased and weaved back to back using easy lift 7 lightener + 20 vol on roots to mids. Easy lift 7 lightener + 5 vol on ends to brighten. Both mixed 1:2. Processed for 1 hour.

- Root melt toner 9.13 + 1g 8.1 + 5 vol mixed 1:2 using colour wear cream. Mids to ends toner 1/2 10.13 + 1/2 10.21 + 5 vol also mixed 1:2 mix. Processed for 20 minutes.

Recommended home care:
- Alfaparf milano smoothing shampoo.
- Alfaparf milano smoothing conditioner.
- Alfaparf milano smoothing cream.

Full head of highlights and lowlights on the gorgeous Emily. Perfect for a low maintenance colour while adding dimension to any style. - Gabrielle xx

Formula:
- Full head of teasy lights. High lights using easy lift 7 lightener + 20 vol, 1:2 mix. Low lights using colour wear cream 5.1 + 7.1 + 10 vol, 1:1 mix. Processed for 45 minutes.
- All over gloss colour in between foils colour wear cream 7.21 + 1g 5.1 + 5vol, 1:2 mix. Processed for 45 minutes.
- Toner using colour wear cream 7.21 + 5vol, 1:2 mix. Processed for 20 minutes.

Recommended home care:
- Alfaparf milano balancing low shampoo.
- Alfaparf milano diamond conditioner.
- Alfaparf milano cristalli liquidi treatment oil.

Hi everyone, and happy October! As you may have noticed, I haven't been posting much at all this year.

This is because I have had a lot of really exciting things happen. For those who don't already know, I have been building a brand new private hair and beauty studio at 7 Stayton Street Adamstown Heights.

I finally get to open my beautiful french doors tomorrow! Thought I'd give you a sneak peak of the doors. Thank the Lord, it's finally done. It's taken just about a full year of blood, sweat, and tears. But my goodness, do I adore the new space.

The other big thing this year is that I got engaged to my amazing fiancè, Alex. As everybody knows, diamonds are a girls best friend. So I have been a bit distracted looking at my ring. (I'm sorry I can't help it, I love anything that sparkles). He has truly been my rock this year with the building of the salon. I truly couldn't have done it without his expertise and support.

Happy late February everyone! I just thought I would write an update because I haven't posted since December. This year is just flying by so quick!

I have gotten a couple of comments from guests about my posts. And how I haven't been posting as much. When I first opened my studio, I wanted my social media to be more about before and after makeovers. As everyone knows, I love a good makeover. I also wanted to help my fellow hairdressers with the process and colour formulas. This is to help them achieve a similar look for their clients, if they so desire.

The problem with that is now I have so many gorgeous regulars. That means I haven't done a lot of massive makeovers recently. While this is a fabulous problem to have, it means I don't have as much to post.
