Todays motto was GIRL EMPOWERMENT DAY.
It was a pleasure to be back at The Authentic Child Weekly & Holiday workshops and see all the happy girls getting their finger designs done today.

Another awesome henna workshop completed!
It's always so interesting to see the girls grow in confidence over just two hours, from learning how to hold a henna cone to creating their own designs by the end of the workshop.

Thanks to everyone who came along for another creative evening, and a big thanks to Papatya cafe for providing the space, nibbles and drinks.
You allow me to do what I love to do most, being surrounded by creatives!

Permanent Tattoo Trial

Thinking about a tattoo but not quite ready to commit?

Over the past few months I've had several clients come to me to "test drive" their tattoo ideas before getting them permanently inked.

One client wanted to honour the special bond between herself and her two sisters. The three birds represent the sisters, with her placed in the centre. Toget

her we explored the size, placement and orientation until she felt confident about how she wanted it to look.

Another client, a teenager, loved a design but wasn't sure if a real tattoo was the right choice. A temporary henna version gave him the chance to see how it felt to wear the design every day before making a permanent decision.

My last client came with a beautiful design she wanted to share with her children through a future tattoo. Initially she wanted it to be only 5cm wide, but after discussing how fine details age over time in permanent tattoos, we adjusted the size to ensure the design would remain clear and readable for years to come.

One thing I love about these appointments is that they are about more than creating a beautiful piece of body art. They give people the opportunity to live with a design, test the placement, assess the size, and make informed decisions before committing to something permanent.
