A newish addition to the collection - from 1971, a World Time with a colour combination that I always feel epitomes the colours of the seventies

A - the Seiko Advan range has so many candidates for unusual designs. Colour combinations, faceted crystals, unusual cases, combinations of all three..... A cheerful and colourful combination to get through an overcast and coolish day

It's winter here in Australia, so one would think that overcast skies and rain should be expected, but honestly, winter in this part of the world is usually fairly mild. Today and the last few days have been kinda cool and dampish though 🌧️ to the point where the dogs come running to get their jackets on, and when I suggest walkies, I get that look that says you have to be kidding.

With that in mind I figured I would have to supply my own sunshine for the day, and for that, you can't go past that golden Seiko 'Pogue' dial 🌞🌞

Celebrating the winter blues for this and enjoying the use of squares and circles, straight lines and curves in the design of these seventies Seiko Chariots. Hope everyone's week is off to a great start

A little bit of weekend magic - a cool, crisp sunshiny winter's day spent cataloguing the newer additions to the watch collection, walking the dogs and enjoying the new leaves unfurling on several of the variegated monsteras. A sixties Grand Seiko on the wrist, and I'm loving that clean classic design
