I’m sitting at my desk, looking out the window at the rain beating into the leaves of the flame tree outside and I feel so... peaceful. Everything is coming together in my new place, I have good friends, a loving family and the best partner I could ask for by my side through everyday. We are still sorting things out in our new townhouse but it already feels like home. I’m also loving my .education studies and watching my body strengthen each week through exercises that felt hard the first time I tried them. Keep bringin’ it, universe.

I’m not saying I’m the strongest, or the skinniest, or the best teacher for that matter, but I damn well enjoy what I do and it shows. Because... no one changes your life by being pretty, but instead by how they make you feel. And how I make my clients on the mat feel is lots of burn and big smiles. Mission accomplished.

I finally made it back to tour Meroogal in Nowra. I loved seeing this absolute time capsule of a home and learning about the thrifty, close knit women who lived here. Just imagining how being financially independent changed the lives of the women who lived here in 1885 is mind blowing. Scroll for gorgeous pics of the interiors. 10/10 recommend if you love anything Victorian, women’s history, local history or just want to get inspired by the gables...

All dressed up, imaginary worlds to visit. Wearing the cutest dress today, to jump into graffiti pictures, get lost in books (currently reading: A Discovery of Witches) and stalk the park for cute dogs. So many cute dogs! What are you currently reading?

What’s your best op shop find? Recently I found these heels, brand new, for just $8. Ridiculous right? Definitely gonna wear these out for my next dinner date

I have wanted to visit the mermaid pool at Berrara for awhile so I was glad it was warm enough over the weekend. It was so refreshing in the crystal ocean water that floods in with the swell, despite how still and safe it is. Also, sorry about my white glow - I know it’s blinding 😂

I forgot to show you guys my Christmas manicure! I loved wearing these shiny mulberry stiletto nails with my pera ring even if it did make gingerbread house decorating a little challenging lol ❤️

After the heat of the day, and I descended upon Berrara Lagoon with little Lily for a dip. She doggy paddled for the first time (she wasn’t convinced) and we soaked up the cool change from the warm waters. I get so much joy from being down here and soaking up the sand and salt.

The cognitive dissonance of beauty in my life and absolute chaos on the news. These are wild times we live in, but it only makes me more determined to keep knuckling down and creating a happy, authentic, creative life. What are you feeling going into 2021? What are you goals? Happy New Year friends! 2020 felt as random as this street art I found in Nowra. I had no idea from month to month what fresh insanity would appear, but despite my failing faith in people to “avoid it like the plague,” I didn’t have the worst year. Less friends and fancy events, moving house and changing my life a lot, sure, but I had my amazing partner by my side, explored new interests, had many laughs, made more $$$ and found way more confidence in my voice. 2021, let’s do this. #2021
