A very colourful visitor to the verandah this morning. Spring is definitely in the air. This little fellow was not bothered by me at all and spent time exploring the verandah. Love where we live.

What is resistance?

How does it relate to exercise?

For women over 40 adding resistance work into your exercise routine is important.

As our bodies change so too should our workouts. Muscle mass begins to decline at around 40. To help maintain muscle tone and build strength you may find that a good resistance or weight lifting program will help.

It won't turn you into a muscle bound body builder, unless you want it.😉

Instead, it will help to tone and strengthen as well as help build stronger bones.

The great part: it's never too late to start!

Today is a day to recognise how much love and affection a cat can give us so make sure that you respect your cat today. 😻

If you want to be fit and healthy then you know that you need to exercise.

For women over the age of 40, the answer is both. 😉
