Overseas swimming had left this lovely client’s colour looking a little funky, so we gave it a refresh colour and before adding 100 keratin bonds bonds at 35cm —the perfect amount for her hair.

We didn’t need to go too heavy with the lightening, as carefully chosen extension shades added that extra brightness, along with beautiful fullness and a seamless blend 😍

This client usually gets around 10–11 months from her bonds and has had no damage after removal. That’s her individual experience, rather than a wear time for everyone—home care, maintenance appointments and professional removal all play a big part in looking after your natural hair.

Over the last 18 months, we’ve gradually transformed this beautiful client’s hair while focusing on one thing first: hair health.

➡️ Set 1: 120 Great Lengths keratin bonds to add the length, fullness and confidence she was missing while supporting her fragile, damaged hair.

➡️ Set 2: Her natural hair was already noticeably thicker and healthier. We kept things a little richer in colour, so we only needed 90 bonds.

➡️ Set 3: Her own hair had become even stronger and fuller. She decided to go slightly shorter, and we only needed 60 bonds (a halo plus a few extras) to achieve the look.

The biggest win? We were able to create brightness and dimension using the extensions themselves, rather than relying on more bleach. Less chemical stress, healthier hair, and a softer grow-out.
