Tea and tarot… some lovely girls had a friends/couples massage the other day and afterwards sat down with a nice hot herbal and played with the tarot cards. No use rushing outside after a massage in this cold wintry weather. 

Lucky us again today! Living above the clouds makes for a beautiful sunny winters day in the hills!

Today I’m transitioning from coffee to cacao as my morning drink. I love my morning coffee to you wake me up and get me going but it’s time to change to a more gentle way of being. The benefits of cacao still increase your circulation and are great on your heart and your mind but without the intense cortisol spike. I was chatting with Oska at our local hat shop Truffaux, who doubles as a ‘secret cocao agent’ and he suggested for the first week to blend a bit of coffee with the cacao as a way of easing out of straight caffeine. the Truffaux hat shop is directly opposite my shop so next time you’re up having a treatment pop in and see Oska and explore his lovely shop!

Every now and again you have to deconstruct the entire Massage room and scrub everything completely. And usually once a year I put a new rug into the room to freshen it up. Working with oils gets a bit messy sometimes!

I captured this image in the car going down the mountain earlier today. It was very reflective of how misty and rainy it was all day today. My morning walk took me through the forest down Range Track to the Basin-Olinda Rd. Fresh air and green vistas all the way to the village. It’s only about a 4.5km loop so it’s achievable before work.
