Today is my last day in the salon for about a month while I take some time off for surgery.
Most of my clients already know, but just to save any rumours...
I'll be having a bilateral mastectomy with DIEP reconstruction. Basically, all of my breast tissue will be removed and replaced using tissue from my tummy.
While it's a big operation, I'm looking forward to hopefully no longer feeling like a ticking time bomb and not having to constantly worry about the big C. 💗
