Mane Man's Barbershop

The shop will be closed from tomorrow, Friday, the 3rd of April, and will reopen on Tuesday, the 7th. We wish everyone a great Easter break, and we look forward to serving you all next week. The shop will remain open until 8 tonight for those requiring a last minute sharpen-up prior to the break.

A massive congratulations to our boy Izaac on completing your apprenticeship, a super awesome achievement. Coming to us as a fresh-faced, quiet, shy kid, it’s been an absolute privilege training you and watching you grow into an amazing young man. A massive shout out to our 2025 Mane Man’s Tipping Comp Winner - Brent Power

This man is a gun when it comes to winning tipping comps. This is the SECOND time Brent has taken out our tipping competition in a 3 year period, collecting close to 8K. Just insane!

Well done to you mate! enjoy your winnings and we will be all out to get you next year 😉

A massive shout out also to Matt Bright who led the competition for 80% of the year and to Grant Cox who was leading the comp going into the grand final, great tipping Lads.

Today was meant to mark a very special day for our business as we have been servicing the Orange community for the past 10 years. This was a major personal achievement for myself and our staff

I was SO excited for this week.

Instead, it has been tainted by a racial slur which has been circulating over social media since lunchtime yesterday. Unfortunately this was made by a ex-staff member.

I am blown away that he would do such a thing. I didn’t see this coming as he is a kind hearted, great young man with a bright future.

All that said and done, I WILL NOT have racism in any factor in my shop, under any circumstances. I’ve always tried to make my barbershop an inclusive and safe place for everyone and we will continue to uphold this very high standard.

We have taken this incident very seriously and have dealt with it strongly.

Racism is NOT OK in any way, shape or form!

It has been a pretty disappointing day for us and we will miss having this young man in our shop. This is a hard lesson for him to learn but we take our zero tolerance to racism stance very seriously

I know more can be done in this country to combat racism so we can all move forward together and love this country as one. We are all so lucky to live in the best country on the planet!
