I had the privilege of being part of the Disability Gateway filming and photography team, providing makeup and hair services for Nicole Lu and her support worker, Linna.

Nicole, who has cerebral palsy, is a real inspiration. She continues to work towards her goals with strength, focus and determination.

As a lived experience representative and disability advocate, Nicole plays an important role in promoting greater inclusion and accessibility.

Her support workers also play a vital part in helping her manage a full and busy schedule.

It was a privilege to provide makeup and hair for Senator Sarah Hanson-Young and Ben Oquist ahead of their attendance at the landmark 2026 ARIA Hall of Fame event in Sydney.

The event celebrated Australian artists and marked the 40th anniversary of the ARIA Awards, with a record six acts inducted.
