My approach to tattooing is thinking about you and your tattooed brows/lips, long term.

I want them to fade and I want them to fade nicely. The application is light and airy at every appointment using quality pigment that ages well.

You see, over time if the brows don’t fade enough and you’ve been recommended to have a touch up once a year and they’re not faded enough in that time, that’s putting too much ink in the skin time and time again over the years and you end up with heavy, dark brows with not real dimension 🙅🏼‍♀️
The skin can literally only hold so much at a time.

I send out a reminder 1 year post tattoo for you to check in with me to see if they’re ready for a touch up but half the time I’ll tell you to wait (you’ll thank me in years to come).

Something I talk about often in the studio — and something I think deserves more honest conversation -
Around 40, everything in your skin can feel like it shifts at once. The products that worked stop working quite as well. Your skin feels drier, a little more sensitive, less resilient than it used to be. Breakouts you haven’t seen since your 20s. A kind of dullness that sleep doesn’t fix.
It’s not your routine failing you. It’s your hormones changing — specifically oestrogen, which plays a much bigger role in your skin than most women realise.
Oestrogen supports collagen production, moisture retention and cell turnover. As levels begin to fluctuate and decline, your skin genuinely behaves differently. Not worse — just differently. And it deserves a different approach.
This is something I care about deeply about (alongside the experiencing it myself).
