During skin needling, we create tiny controlled micro-injuries in your skin. I know that sounds intense but it is actually quite gentle. The needles are fine and the depth is carefully controlled. You feel warmth and slight pressure, not pain.
What happens next is where the magic is. These micro-injuries trigger your body's natural healing response. Your skin goes into repair mode. It produces more collagen. More elastin. It rebuilds itself from the inside out. We follow up with Dermalogica serums and treatments that support this healing process.
The benefits happen over time. Fine lines soften. Texture smooths out. Skin looks clearer and more even in tone. Acne scars become less noticeable. Your skin actually becomes more resilient. This is what happens when you commit and show up consistently.
Within the first month you notice your skin feels different. The texture starts to change. By three months the improvement is genuinely visible. By six months you are looking in the mirror at skin that is noticeably different. Clearer. Healthier. Actually being cared for.
This kind of result lasts because it is built properly. Not because of one treatment. Because you showed up consistently over time. Your skin responded. And you invested in actually changing it.
That is what real transformation looks like.
We use hot wax because it is safer on the skin. A lot of salons use strip wax instead. And the reason is simple. Strip wax is four times cheaper than hot wax. So business wise, it makes more sense to use strip wax.
But we do not compromise on quality. We use hot wax on the face, underarm, bikini and Brazilian. Strip wax is only used on legs, chest and back where the skin is thicker and can handle it. Nowhere else.
I have had so many clients come in and say that they went home with stinging skin after waxing, or they had red patches for days. And they thought that was normal. It is not. That is the wax. That is the technique. That is what happens when quality is compromised.
Waxing should not hurt your skin. It should not leave you with irritation or redness that lasts. If it is, that is a sign the wrong wax is being used on sensitive areas of your face and body.
We do not compromise on quality. That is why we use hot wax. Because your skin deserves that care.
Most women don't actually know what brow shape suits their face. Nobody teaches you this.
The right shape isn't about trends. It's about your features.
If you've never had someone actually figure that out for you, comment BROW.

Pigmentation does not fix itself. And I think a lot of women hope it will. We spend money on creams and serums and treatments thinking maybe this will be the one that finally addresses it. But usually it does not because pigmentation needs more than that. It needs strategy. It needs timing. It needs consistency.
That is exactly why MelanoPro runs in winter. When the sun exposure drops, your skin is not fighting constant damage while trying to heal. When that pressure is off, the corrective work can actually work. Your skin can change. Real change.
Uneven tone. Pigmentation that has built up over the years. Texture that needs addressing. Winter is when we can actually do something about it.
If this has been on your list, this is the season to start.
DM MelanoPro or book your consultation online. Winter spots are filling.

If you have been thinking about your eyebrows but are not sure where to start, this is what you need to know.
Most women come to us after they have been to other places. Maybe they have had too much waxed. Maybe the shape was forced to fit someone else's idea of what eyebrows should look like. Maybe they just have never seen what is actually possible with their own natural brow structure.
This is where the Signature Brow Design comes in. It is not a quick treatment. It is a consultation, an assessment and a proper plan.
We start with a conversation. I look at your face, your bone structure, your natural brow growth pattern, your features, even your personality. Every face is different and every eyebrow needs to work with that specific face, not against it.
From there we design. We map out what your eyebrows can be when they are understood properly. What shape will balance your face. Where to work with your natural growth. Where to be subtle. Where to create definition. It is all connected to the face in front of me, not a template.
Once you see the design, once you understand what is possible, you can decide what you want to do next. Some women just want to maintain and groom from that point on. Some want to add tinting. Some eventually decide on tattooing. But that decision comes after you actually see what is possible.
The Signature Brow Design is $245 and includes the full consultation, the assessment, and your personalised design. For new clients, we are currently offering $50 off, bringing it to $195.
If you have been wondering what your eyebrows could be, this is the first step. No commitment to anything beyond understanding what you are working with. Just clarity and a proper plan.
When people come in and say they have sensitive skin, I listen. But here is what I have found over the years. Almost nobody actually has skin that is sensitive from birth. What they have is usually something we can fix.
Most of the time it is an easy fix as soon as we look at what they are using. We tweak the products. We look at their lifestyle. We find the actual problem. And then things change fast.
Most clients see a difference within three weeks. Real difference. They feel it. They see it. Within about three months it is usually completely settled. That is the average timeline.
So if you think you have sensitive skin, you might. Or you might just have skin that is reacting to something we can easily change. Either way, there is an answer. And it is probably simpler than you think.
If you have questions about your skin, come talk to us. No question is silly. I love talking about skin. We can do a consultation or just give us a call and we can guide you on what you need.
Let's figure out what is actually going on with your skin.

I want to paint a picture of June 27th because I think sometimes we need to imagine something before we can say yes to it.
You arrive at my home in the morning and there is no rush to begin anything. No one checking you in, no schedule waiting on the wall. You just arrive, settle in, and we start when you are ready.
We move through the morning gently. Some movement that wakes up your body without demanding anything from it. A meditation I have chosen specifically for women who are very used to being busy and find it hard to switch off. I know that because I am one of them.
After that, sound healing. I was sceptical myself for a long time so I understand if you are too. But the first time I experienced it properly I understood why it works.
Then lunch, real conversation and the rest of the afternoon to sit with whatever comes up. You leave at 2pm. A little lighter. A little more yourself.
There are still a few spots.
We never rush into treatments.
Because the best results come from actually understanding what's going on first.
The consultation isn't a formality. It's where the real work starts.

MG Beauty and Brow is a finalist for the Penrith City Local Business Awards in Outstanding Beauty Services. I am really grateful for this.
But honestly, this is not about me. This is about the women who come in and trust us. The clients who show up consistently. The ones who understand that what we do takes time and skill.
It is about the team too. The therapists who actually care about clients and their craft. Who show up every day and do the work properly. Who make sure every person who walks through the door feels like they matter.
And it is about this community. Penrith. The people who have supported us, referred their friends, believed in what we do.
Thank you. That is what this really is.

We live in a world that keeps promising quick results. Skincare is absolutely not immune to that. Seven day serums. Overnight miracles. Visible results after one treatment.
I have been in this industry long enough to know the marketing almost always overpromises. And I have watched the frustration on women's faces when they bought into it and it did not deliver. I see it constantly.
But here is what is actually true. Your skin renews itself on a cycle. That takes time. Real improvement in texture, how your skin looks, how it feels, happens over months. Not weeks. Months of consistent effort, the right treatments at the right times, products that actually suit your skin type.
When you understand how your skin actually works, you stop chasing the quick fix. You start building something real instead. And skin that looks different a year from now is so much more satisfying than anything that promised everything in week one.
That is the difference. Skin that feels like a project versus skin that feels like it is actually being cared for.
