Start training your scalp.
Wash your hair 2–3 times per week.
Use a gentle, sulfate-free shampoo.
Double cleanse your scalp, not your ends.
Use dry shampoo strategically, not daily.

And this part is important.

Always use a heat protectant and blow-dry your hair smooth, lifting at the roots. Letting your hair air dry traps moisture at the scalp, which can lead to oil buildup and make your hair look greasy faster. A proper blow-dry helps control oil, adds volume, and keeps your hair fresher for longer.

The first one to two weeks may feel uncomfortable. That’s normal. Your scalp needs time to rebalance.

With consistency, you’ll notice less oil, healthier roots, better volume, and longer-lasting wash days.

How we created this look 🤍
We started by prepping the hair with heat protectant and smoothing products to create a flawless base. The hair was then blow-dried with a clean parting before being curled in the same direction using a medium barrel to achieve soft, structured curls. Once fully cooled, the curls were gently brushed out and shaped into classic Hollywood waves, finished with light hold hairspray and shine spray for a smooth, glossy finish — perfect for a Year 10 formal ✨
To complete the look, our makeup artist Gabbie created this elevated glam makeup, focusing on glowing skin, soft definition, and false lashes to enhance the eyes and add that formal-ready wow factor 💄✨
