How long do dental implants actually last? Here is the honest answer 👇

There are actually two parts to a dental implant, and they have very different lifespans.

The titanium screw under the gum: upwards of 25 years.

The crown on top: around 10 to 15 years, and easily replaced when worn.

But the material is only part of the story. Bone support, gum health, bite forces, oral hygiene and ongoing maintenance all determine how long your implant actually lasts.
With the right care and planning, you are giving your implant the best possible chance of lasting long term. It starts with getting the right advice from the beginning.
