Dusted off the tools this week to give Knox a little trim — can’t believe my tiny client is now 2 😅✂️ He sat still for about… 3 seconds, so I’m calling it a success 😂

Tex is 6 months now and living his best chubby baby life 🍼💛 I seriously miss all my beautiful clients and hope you’re all doing fab (and that your hair’s surviving without me 😜).

Little update on the future of HAIRBYJ.
We are moving house at the start of May as the new owners want to move in 🫠

The plan is to hopefully be able to open up a little space to be able to do hair at the new house 🤞🏻🤞🏻

But I will keep everyone updated when I know what’s happening 😊

Hair by J is closed for the near future.

This has been an incredibly hard decision to make but with entering maternity leave and the uncertainty of what is happening with the rental , We have made the decision to close the doors temporarily.

I will be in touch with my clients once I’ve had bubs to see where we are at and what we can do, But until then if you need your hair done i cannot recommend enough!
The only person I trust with my hair and she has a cosy home salon 10 minutes from mine ❤️

Thank you for your support over the last almost 3 years. Never did I think I’d be working for myself and loving doing hair again but thanks to incredible clients it’s been a dream 🥹❤️

Hey hey 👋

As I approach the end of my pregnancy there’s a few things in salon that will be changing.

I’m unfortunately only going to be able to accommodate 1 client per appointment.
And certain services will no longer be available.
If this is to affect any existing appointments I will be in contact over the next few days.

This pregnancy has been completely different to Knox’s and I have unfortunately found myself dealing with a few health issues.
I plan on working up until the end of February/early March but this will be confirmed closer to :)

As for a return date, That is still unknown at this stage and will depend on my recovery.

Please know that all current appointments that have been pre booked will remain the same :)

Thank you once again to all my wonderful clients who have worked with me during the past few weeks and continue to be understanding as I get my ass kicked 😂😂
