People always say that there isn’t much to do but after living there for 18 months I honestly feel like I barely scratched the surface! Here are 8 iconic spots you can’t miss ⬇️ 1️⃣ Kings Park Visit for sunrise or enjoy a morning walk around the park. It’s also the beginning of wildflower season at the moment! 2️⃣ Omeo Wreck Located on Coogee Beach, this shipwreck is found just 25m from the shore! There’s also an underwater art gallery to explore. 3️⃣ Fremantle Markets Open Friday-Sunday, you’ll find a variety of stalls selling produce, clothes, jewellery and art. There’s also a good selection of food on offer if you’re after a feed! 4️⃣ Cottesloe Beach The most iconic beach in Perth! Enjoy a dip on a warm day or sit under the pine trees and watch the sunset over the ocean. 5️⃣ Fremantle Prison Explore the world heritage prison and learn about its rich history. Tours start from $24. 6️⃣ Lesmurdie Falls Enjoy a winter or spring day trip and hike to the tallest and most impressive waterfall in Perth Hills. 2km return to the base of the falls. 7️⃣ The Containbow Visit the iconic rainbow sculpture made by Marcus Canning out of shipping containers. 8️⃣ Crawley Edge Boatshed Also known as the Blue Boat House, this is one of the most photographed landmarks in Perth.
