✨ Nail Dump & Bittersweet Update ✨

I’ve been a little more quiet lately, and I wanted to share why. After a lot of reflection, I’ve made the bittersweet decision to close Polished by Lady T, with my last day being Saturday, 27th of September.

This chapter has been so much more than a business for me. It’s been a part of my life, my growth, and a journey filled with countless lessons. I couldn’t be more thankful for every person who has sat in my chair, trusted me with their nails, and shared laughs, stories, and moments that made this space so special.

I’ve recently been offered a full-time role that’s a new step toward the career I’ve been striving for, and I feel it’s the right time to give this next chapter my full energy. While it’s hard to let go, I leave with nothing but gratitude for what Polished by Lady T has given me and for all of you who made it possible. 💖

Here’s to growth, new beginnings, and always carrying these memories with me 🖤

Duck nails - Take II 🦆💠

So the first time I did duck nails I definitely didn’t not vibe with her but I knew it was me not the nails. Because who told me to try long duck nails right off the bat 😵‍💫 thinking the square long nails I had previously would t be a bad transition (delusional) …

I told myself next time we would start off short (to my standards) and see without adding a French if I’d like the shape. Safe to say we is really liking the duck nails yall 🤭

Most of you know I’ve been grinding through two postgrad degrees while running my nail business — and now your girl is officially a DOUBLE MASTERS GRAD!!

Honestly, this has been the most chaotic (and sometimes wildly unhinged) chapter of my life, but I wouldn’t trade it. I’m beyond grateful for every bit of support along the way — y’all kept me going.

For my graduation set, I knew I wanted to celebrate not just the milestone, but a little piece of Black womanhood and culture (peep the reference in the last slide). Because let’s be real — a Black woman DONE DID HER BIG ONE: two degrees, a growing business, and still dancing/teaching on the side.
