We are thrilled to announce that our Year 9 students have been given a fantastic opportunity to participate in a 10-week introductory beauty program Access Training Academy!

This program is designed to give students a taste of what it’s like to study and work in the beauty industry, providing hands-on experience and valuable insights.

Throughout the program, students will delve into essential topics such as:

✨ Sanitation**: Understanding the importance of cleanliness and hygiene in beauty practices.
✨ Customer Service**: Developing skills to provide exceptional service and build customer relationships.
✨ Client Consultation**: Learning how to effectively communicate with clients to meet their individual needs.
✨ Contraindications**: Gaining knowledge about conditions that may affect beauty treatments and how to handle them safely.

🌟 Exciting Day at North Metropolitan TAFE! 🌟

Today, our Certificate III Beauty students had the incredible opportunity to visit North Metropolitan TAFE Nursing and Beauty for an enriching excursion! The day was packed with learning and personal development as they engaged in a dynamic resume workshop hosted by Jobs and Skills WA.

During the workshop, the students gained invaluable insights into how to craft a standout resume that showcases their skills and experiences effectively. They learned tips and tricks to make their applications more appealing to potential employers, which is a vital step in their career journeys.

But that wasn't all! Following the workshop, each student received one-on-one career guidance from industry experts. This personalized advice allowed them to explore their interests, discuss career pathways, and receive support tailored to their individual goals and aspirations.

A key component of our Certificate III in Beauty Therapy is the **Makeup for Photography** course, where students learn how to craft impeccable makeup looks that are designed to stand out in front of the camera. This training prepares them to deliver flawless results, whether they're working on a radiant daytime look, an elegant bridal style, or a striking fashion statement.

⭐Recently, our students participated in a photo shoot assignment that challenged them to showcase their creativity and technical abilities. They were tasked with designing makeup looks that catered to different scenarios, such as bridal elegance, everyday subtlety, and fashion-forward artistry. This project not only tested their adaptability but also encouraged them to consider how makeup can be used to enhance the visual impact of a photoshoot.

🧡The practical application of these makeup skills in a variety of settings is a cornerstone of the education at ACCESS Training Academy. By focusing on these real-world experiences, we ensure that our graduates are fully prepared to excel in the beauty industry. ⭐This term, our Certificate III students also had the opportunity to extend their skills beyond the classroom during a visit to Bethany’s Aged Care in Yanchep. They spent a morning providing pampering services to the residents, which allowed them to practice their makeup artistry, communication, and customer service skills. This experience was invaluable, giving our students a chance to work with clients of all ages and abilities while also contributing to the community.

🧡Overall, the visit to Bethany’s Aged Care was a rewarding experience for our students, offering them a glimpse into the diverse opportunities that the beauty industry has to offer.
