Well 🙋🏼‍♀️hello there! As it has been a very long time since I have posted on social media and even longer since I posted an image of myself, I thought I would start by reintroducing myself to those of you who are new to my page or to anyone who doesn’t know much about me.

🤩Heya, I’m Isabella, owner and creative director of Gamine Dynasty. I’m a fully qualified hairstylist, makeup artist and florist (🌷only as a contractor for other amazing local floral brands - as if I have time to run a whole other business rn 🤣) specialising in events, weddings and editorial work. I’ve been doing hair for 13+ years, makeup for 5+ years and flowers for 3+ years. Yes, I know - I’m creative. The funny thing is that I’m one of those odd people who can tell you random interesting (well at least I think they are interesting) facts and have many different kinds of skills from childcare to house painting; website design and build to home renovations and cabinet making. Maybe I should just put my profession as, “professional collector of knowledge and skills”.

One of the main questions I get asked all the time is, “which do you like the most?”
My answer is that I like each of them for different reasons. They all allow me to release my creative juices in different ways which works for me because sticking with one job type while adulting with ADHD equals nothing but boredom and dissatisfaction in my head. The more I do, the more I’m happy.

What a way to finish a Saturday! I was lucky to work with the cruisey and easy going 😎cool mums, Zora and Julie who were attending the Hale Parent’s Ball (side note - such a great idea that the school host a ball for the parents🤩) Then the mua rocks up and it’s none other than who I just love working opposite!

Well well well... look who’s back on the gram.

You’ve probably noticed I’ve been a bit quiet on Insta lately...
For numerous reason which some of you will know what they are - I have chosen to step back from the socials and not to post as often as I was.

I have been flat out with completing bookings and have so much content to share but since the crazy-busy-manic-wedding-season-that-was-2020/21 has ended and I have a bit more time free. It couldn’t have come at a better time as I have happened to catch a cold. Universe’s way of saying, “slow down! You need to rest”.
Getting a grip on customer correspondence will take first priority (equally with existing appointments coming up) then I will be concentrating on upgrading procedures, softwares and a new website is in the pipeline which I am so excited about! All of this will help with less wait time for correspondence, quotes and confirming appointments.

Thank you to everyone who is patiently waiting to hear from me! It’s been a tough year keeping up with the demand so I appreciate everyone’s support!

To everyone who came and met us at at Claremont Showgrounds on Sunday - thank you so much for coming and we are so excited to get in touch and get your services booked in soon. We got 107 enquiries so please be patient with us. I am getting through them and will be sending a batch out tomorrow so keep an eye on those mail boxes!

Cady, will you please tell him his hair looks sexy pushed back?” Anyone who has seen Mean Girls knows this line and I have to say that even though we all hate Regina George ( /secretly love how fierce she is - don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone) and that she is talking about a guy, I have to say that I agree with her! It is a bit of an intimidating look as a lot of people aren’t used to not having any hair on their face however as long as you balance the texture and height that is being pulled back, you will be golden!
