The many shades of warm orange is the perfect hair colour match especially for those of you with a light complexion which has pink undertones. It is stunning on short and long haircuts and is very pretty on both curly or straight styles. These styles capture the beautiful shades of copper!

My third tip for healthy hair is...TRIMS!
On average, hair grows at a rate of about half inch (1.25cm) per month, and typically the hair should be trimmed every 6-8 weeks. This means, between cuts, the hair should have grown about an inch (2.5cm). Trimming your hair at this point helps you maintain healthy, strong hair that allows you to keep split ends at bay and your style looking fresh and new. For those of you who just want to grow long hair having a very light trim regularly keeps those ends strong whilst you go through the growing out stage.

My number 2 tip for healthy hair is HOME CARE!
Before you shampoo, brushing your hair with a natural bristle brush will help to release loose strands and allow natural oils to condition the lengths and ends prior to shampooing. You may not consider this essential but after you try it you see the advantages of this tip. For extra long hair applying an oil to the lengths and ends and leaving for at least an hour before shampooing will make all the difference.
Choose a shampoo that is specifically designed for your hair type. For example, if you have oily hair then you need use a shampoo for oily hair. To protect the lasting effect of your colour use a colour protective shampoo. There is a shampoo available for all different hair needs.
Completely saturate the hair and apply the shampoo, after gently massaging your scalp you should rinse it with luke warm water. Avoid daily shampooing instead wash your hair every second or third day. Using a dry shampoo in between if needed is a great compromise.
Conditioning is an important step for healthy hair. Apply a conditioner that is specific to your hairs needs. If possible remove excess water from your hair before applying and remember to comb through the conditioner and leave in for as long as possible (pop on a shower cap), then thoroughly rinse your hair in luke warm water.
Avoid rubbing your hair dry, instead squeeze any excess water from your hair with a towel.
For the ultimate protection, before drying use a styling lotion with heat protection.
