My name is Kaila Louise

Im a Qualified Hairdresser that struggles with Hair loss through Trichotilomania and Alopecia.

I stopped working in a Salon a few years ago because I didn't like how nasty and hostile the environment can be at no fault to the beautiful clients. I still continued to do hair for family and friends (always forgetting the before picture because I was just so excited to start creating)

I felt like I shouldn't have to pretend to be something I wasn't to fit into the "social norm" of what a hairdresser looked like because my hair became damaged and I would sweat so much that any makeup put on in the morning had run down my cheeks by lunch time which I missed eating because I was overworked and underpaid working 6 days a week and missing my kids school events.

I switched it up and started working for my best friend at his heavy diesel workshop and started up a service administration and parts sales department. I love my job and working in a male industry where we can laugh and banter without being nasty b*eches. I work fulltime with the boys but my passion for hair has been reignited and I have decided to start being of service.

I freak at doing blondes because it can always go horribly wrong but the hair gods have been watching over me lately ;)

This babe is tansitioning to a platinum blonde after years of being told that's what she was getting, Platinum but couldn't fight the golden and brassy tones being put back in with toners so we are cleaning up the golden banding and stripping build up of golden honey while using Novaplex to avoid any further damage that has seen this poor beauty have to continuesly chop her growth off due to over processing so the aim is get her where she can enjoy her healthy clean platinum this summer with the growth that shows and be able to maintain it at home ☀️ Alyssa Graham 🤩😍

Thankyou to Ann for coming into the salon yesterday to be my perm model... I'm officially finished my all assessments for tafe and will be signing off my studies on Wednesday 😁💇‍♀️ bring on being on the floor and closer to being qualified 🙌
