Grey blending journey

There was a lot going on when my lovely client came to me in December. Lots and lots of uneven tones stripes grey roots, yellow stripes, blonde front money piece orange banding layers of colour to correct
the plan was to take her back to a cooler brown to kill some of the warmth which got her to picture

After another sitting 6 wks later cooling down more gold and evening out tone we achieved a cooler base to start with

Today was sitting number 3 highlights added ,dark slices in between root blend and toner gets her to the last 2 pictures
A cleaner cooler base with some cooler blondes ( still not there yet though)

The aim is slow slow slow lift
Going in with packs of highlights will only create more warmth over time
The base has to be cool to start with or you will always achieve a yellow blonde that no amount of toning will fix !!! People always think a toner fixes everything but believe me it doesn’t
