Thank you so much to everyone who came by to say hi and celebrate our official opening in Mt Lawley.
If you’re new here, Studio Katarina was based in Subiaco for over 6 years, and we relocated at the beginning of January. Between moving studios, a full fit-out, and having a baby… I can finally say, we made it!! All the final details are done, and I couldn’t be happier, prouder and of course, a little tired 😂
This is my fourth space, marking nearly 8 years running my own business and over 10 years in the beauty industry. Mt Lawley just feels right our forever home (until we change our minds 😂).
A huge thank you to my beautiful husband for bringing this vision to life, my incredible team who have been nothing short of amazing, and to our loyal clients and friends we wouldn’t be here without you.

Okay… I’ve been keeping a HUGE secret 😅 and I am SO relieved I can finally share it with you all!
After five beautiful years in our Subi studio… we’re moving into a brand new space!
An incredible opportunity came up to call this new place mine, and even though I was busy growing a little human at the time, we said YES.
We took on the challenge to have it ready for the new year. Subi will forever hold my heart, and leaving is definitely bittersweet, but I’m honestly beyond excited for this next chapter.
Don’t worry, we’re not going far… just down the road! Still very much Subiaco at heart, just with a fresh new vibe.
Mount Lawley, we’re coming for you!!!
Here’s what you need to know:
• We officially open January 8.
• Your bookings stay exactly the same—same day, same time—just head to the new studio!

💕Be right back 💕
I’ve officially been on maternity leave for a couple of weeks now, and between all the nesting, cleaning, and organizing, my heart is so full knowing we’re getting everything ready for the most important arrival of our lives. 💕
As for the studio, things will continue to run as normal with just a few small changes. Our trading hours and admin days have slightly shifted, but we’ll still do our very best to respond to all inquiries within 24 hours. Thank you so much for your patience as we navigate this transition.
For cosmetic tattoo appointments, you’ll be in the best hands with our incredible senior artist, Slava, who is stepping in while I’m away. For brows, lashes, and skin treatments, Amber is your girl always slaying and making everyone feel amazing. And for anything else, our salon supervisor queen Sienna will be there to look after you with her warm and beautiful energy.
For those of you choosing to wait for me (so grateful 🫶🏼), we’ve created a “waiting list.” This means if you contact us now, you’ll have priority when I return.
As for my comeback date it’s still undefined. We will be taking it one step at a time as we adjust to life with our little one. My goal is to return slowly during the first trimester of 2026, but I’ll keep you all updated.
To my dream team, Si, Amber, and Slava, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You’ve cared for me through every stage of this pregnancy, making sure I rested, had water, snacks, and all the support I needed as well performing an outstanding work as always, I couldn’t be prouder of you girls. 🫶🏼
And now… it’s time to step into the most important role of my life,becoming a mama. I’m soaking up every last moment with her in my belly and cherishing this magical chapter.
To all my beautiful clients, thank you for every message, every gift, every card, and for all the love and encouragement you’ve shown me. I’ll miss you all dearly, but I’ll be back before you know it.

I really need to start posting more of this kind of work, it’s honestly one of the things I love most about tattooing! I've said it before, but my page has been reported a few times for posting this stuff (even though there’s NO nudity and it’s literally life-changing work)... so please, don’t be a Karen 🙃
I promise I’ll get around to making a separate page just for this kind of work, just bear with me, it’s been a hectic year and I’m doing my best 😂
One thing my client said that absolutely melted me:

Like… 🥹🥹🥹 damn. I wish I had that kind of superpower, but honestly I’m just so grateful for those words and to be able to help in any way.
