For our incredible team member Megan Basioli, the Fiona Wood Foundation is connected to one of the most significant chapters of her life.

Megan was critically injured in the Bali bombings, sustaining burns to 36% of her body, and tragically lost her father in the attack. The pioneering work of Professor Fiona Wood and her burns team played an important role in Megan’s recovery.

More than 20 years later, Megan has come full circle. She is now an ambassador and public speaker for the Fiona Wood Foundation, sharing her story and helping support the work that made such a difference in her own life.

This year, Megan, her brother Shane, and our Skin Collective team members Sam and Sara are taking on the Central Park Plunge, abseiling 130 metres down Central Park Tower in Perth C*D to raise funds for the Foundation.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 to help continue the Foundation’s work in burns research, treatment and recovery.

Rejuran is a pretty unique player in eye rejuvenation 👀

Its active ingredient is Polynucleotides (PN), DNA fragments that help support tissue repair and stimulate biological processes involved in skin regeneration.

Polynucleotides are used to help improve skin texture, elasticity and the appearance of fine lines by supporting the skin’s repair response.

And one detail that makes Rejuran particularly interesting 👉🏼 certain formulations can be injected close to the eye and, when clinically appropriate, into the delicate eyelid area itself.

That opens up some fascinating possibilities for treating areas where the skin is especially thin and fine lines and crepey texture can be a concern.
