Yesterday and today was a barefoot kinda day 😎 with my trusted companion Lady 🐶 Together we completed 13.8km in the last 2 days 🤩 Almost ½way through our challenge and only half the 💰 raised.

Staff meeting 1on1 🤣

Six weeks post-op today. The first week was tough, the pain, the restrictions on movement and my ability to do things, tested my patience and resilience.

Another trip to the hospital 2wks later with a pulmonary embolism scare, but this cookie is determined to get better 💪

Lots of books, puzzles and ☕️ dates 😁 Thank you everyone who helped kept me sane these past 6wks. Been dying for a massage 🤣

So here I am reminiscing about the past and dreaming about the future 😁 now that I've started my rehab on Mon. Good news so far 🎉

2025 has been a year of many challenges on many different levels. Trying to keep the business afloat after a shoulder injury at the end of May, challenging ACC on their decision, moving house ,yet at the same time staying put and being separated from my family. A year I was happy to see the back of.

4 days post-op and the first day I got 8h of pain relief 💊 Being the patient for a change has it's challenges, but I can honestly say I'm surrounded by some amazing people 🥰 Thank you for all the messages over the last few days, offers of help, and future ☕️ dates to keep me sane during the long road to recovery 💪
