Hi there
It's with mixed emotions I must advise that I will be closing the O'Connell Street salon at the end of June early July 23'as the current lease ends.
After leasing premises for the past 45 years, I now wish to be out of contract.
As my wonderful team who have been with me for many years are largely moving on it has also been difficult to secure a new owner in the current business market.
That said Nicki and Tracey will advise you in due course of their future plans.
On a personal note I'd like to thank you for your support over many years. Many of the Northpark clients may be unaware I started my business in 78' on the corner of King William and Pirie Street when Patrick O'Rourke Hairdressers was Adelaide's leading salon. Might even surprise a few that many of those 70's clients are still with me today and I Love them for it.
As it happens both of our salon leases end on the same day in July 23’ which is also my 50th Anniversary in the hairdressing industry.
On a positive note our Love Hair Blackwood Salon will continue on after recently securing a positive arrangement with the owner. Therefore we look forward to seeing those of you willing to drive up the hill to see us.

We are pleased to say that things are looking good for the salon to re open on Wednesday the 28th July with the necessary restrictions and protocols to be adhered to by all. Mask in particular are required to be worn.

Existing appointments in most cases have already be moved by our team but if you are in any doubt please contact us Wednesday if the lifting of the lock down goes ahead as planned.

😷At this time, masks are now recommended in public areas when physical distancing is not possible (retail shops, public transport, taxis and rideshare).

Masks CONTINUE to be mandatory for:
-all people in health care settings
-people providing personal care services (this does not currently include clients).

Please note:
▪Children under 12 years of age do not need to wear a mask.
▪The term ‘face mask or mask’ includes reusable cloth masks, and single-use face masks (commonly called surgical masks).
▪Face masks that have unfiltered one-way valves should not be used.

⚠️Important things to remember about wearing masks:
▪Once your mask is on, it is important that you don’t touch or adjust the front of it while wearing it – it’s the part that’s protecting you from COVID-19. If you do touch it by accident, wash or sanitise your hands right away.
▪Before putting your mask on and after taking it off, remember to thoroughly wash and dry (or sanitise) your hands.

Easter Trading!
Just to update you all, Love Hair will be closing over the Easter holiday weekend and reopening on Wednesday the 7th April.
Appointments are filling fast for this shorter than normal week, so we encourage you to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
