Our Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEP) are allied health professionals who specialise in clinical exercise interventions for a broad range of pathological populations, including those at risk of developing, or have existing medical conditions and injuries. Through exercise based therapy we aim to prevent or manage chronic disease and/or injury to assist in restoring optimal physical function, health and well-being. Our AEP's interventions are exercise-based and include health and physical activity education, advice and support and lifestyle modification with particular focus on achieving behavioural change. We accept NDIS, DVA, Medicare, WorkCover, insurance and private referrals.

It's Movember — a month built around a simple but important goal: getting men to pay more attention to their health, especially prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health.
Roughly 1 in 6 Australian men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer by age 85, making it the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australian men. (Source: Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.) Exercise won't prevent every case, but there's good evidence it supports recovery during and after treatment, and plays a role in overall risk reduction as part of a healthy lifestyle.
Just as important: regular exercise is one of the most effective, accessible tools for managing stress and low mood — areas men are often slower to seek help for.
Our Exercise Physiologists work with men through diagnosis, treatment and recovery, as well as general health and mental wellbeing. Come and see one of our team 👊🏼

Occupational therapy isn't only for older adults — it plays a big role for kids and teens too, particularly around sensory processing.
For some young people, everyday sounds, textures or environments feel far more intense than they do for others, which can make school, social situations or even getting dressed genuinely difficult.
Our OTs work with kids and teens to build practical strategies for managing sensory experiences, along with the skills and confidence to navigate school and everyday life more easily.
It's not about 'fixing' a child — it's about understanding how they experience the world and building the right support around that.
If your child or teen is finding everyday environments overwhelming, we can help. DM us or refer via prohealthrx.com.au/referrals/

A Parkinson's diagnosis often comes with a lot of uncertainty about what the future looks like. One thing the evidence is increasingly clear on: exercise matters, and earlier is better.
Regular, targeted exercise has been shown to help manage Parkinson's symptoms — including balance, mobility and gait — and some research suggests it may help slow the progression of certain symptoms over time. It's not a cure, but it's one of the few tools shown to make a genuine difference.
The right program is specific: balance and strength work, boxing-style movement, and exercise that challenges coordination, not just general fitness.
Our Exercise Physiologists work with people managing Parkinson's at every stage. If you or someone you love has been recently diagnosed, it's worth starting sooner rather than later. Book via the link in our bio 💪
✨CLIENT WIN✨
6 years. Twice a week. That's how long G has been showing up 💪
Her biggest goal was staying independent: peeling her own vegetables, standing to meal prep, cleaning the house, changing her bed, doing her washing and her groceries. She's still doing all of it herself.
She's also walked up 4 sets of steps at the Sydney Opera House 👏
G has built strength through her whole body, and now her goal is to keep it. Maintaining strength can be draining and challenging, and she'll tell you that honestly. But she's seen what happens when she doesn't, so she keeps coming back.
That's what consistency looks like. Steady, week after week.
So proud of you, G.
If you'd like support to stay strong and independent at home, book online via the link in our bio or call us on 07 3103 9813 ⭐

Living with a condition no one can see — chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, long-term pain — often comes with a particular kind of exhaustion: doing too much on a good day, then paying for it for several after.
Occupational therapists help with something called pacing: breaking tasks into manageable amounts, spacing out demanding activities, and building in genuine rest before you hit the wall rather than after.
It's not about doing less out of caution. It's about learning your own pattern well enough to keep doing the things that matter, more consistently.
If an invisible illness has made your energy feel unpredictable, our OTs can help you build a routine that works with your body. DM us or refer via prohealthep.com.au/referrals/

💪🦴WORLD OSTEOPOROSIS DAY🦴💪
Osteoporosis often gets talked about as a women's health issue — but it affects men too, and it's just as easily missed.
Around 1 in 5 men over 50 will experience an osteoporotic fracture in their lifetime, yet bone health rarely comes up in conversations about men's health.
The same principles that help protect women's bones help men's too: regular weight-bearing exercise and supervised strength work to maintain bone density, plus balance training to lower the risk of a fall in the first place.
This World Osteoporosis Day ask whether your bone health has had any attention lately. Our Exercise Physiologists can help you build a program that protects it. Come and see one of our team today ✨

Osteoarthritis is one of the most common reasons people are told to 'rest' a joint — but for most people, that's the opposite of what helps.
Osteoarthritis happens when the cartilage cushioning a joint gradually wears down, most often in the knees and hips. It's common as we age, but pain and stiffness aren't something you simply have to accept or work around forever.
The strongest evidence-based treatment isn't rest — it's targeted strengthening around the joint, alongside general aerobic activity. Done well, it can reduce pain and improve function as effectively as some medications, without the side effects. (Source: Exercise is Medicine Australia.)
If knee or hip pain has been holding you back, our exercise physiologists can build a program that works with your joints, not against them. Book via the link in our bio 💪

👋 Meet Samantha, one of our Occupational Therapists.
Samantha holds a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from the University of the Sunshine Coast. Her focus areas are mental health, neurodivergence, assistive technology, pressure care and independent living skills.
She’s spent six years working across community mental health, aged care and the NDIS, and leading with empathy is at the heart of how she works. What Samantha cares about most is helping people regain their independence and feel confident in their everyday lives. Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find her at the gym or hunting down a good patisserie.
As our OT team continues to grow, Samantha is part of making sure more of our community can get the support they need.
If you’d like to work with Samantha, DM us or refer via prohealthrx.com.au/referrals/ ⭐
