I UNDERPROMISED AND OVER DELIVERED.
Without doing a test strand and being a new client, I had no idea what the lift would be like on this hair and the worst thing I could have done was promise her the result we actually got to!
Why? Because she would have been disappointed if she didn’t come close to this colour and if the condition was compromised it would have been my fault if I hadn’t warned her of the risk she was taking. We took all the precautions, we used k18 and as you can see it worked wonders but that’s not always the case when I don’t know the hair.
I’ve been doing this 22 years and I know hair, but I also know what can go wrong when colouring and it’s best to prepare our clients when doing a transformation!
This one did go beautifully! The hair was in incredible condition and we were both loving the result but I would have been prepared if something didn’t go the way we wanted
The most important thing is to have a hairdresser that tells it to you straight and explains the process so you understand and that’s not with fancy words, sometimes it’s just being honest.
