Newborn Session

Newborn photography is one of the most special and rewarding sessions we offer at Studio Thirtytwo. These early moments are fleeting, and it’s our goal to help you preserve the precious memories of your baby’s first days.

I have completed several workshops and training sessions to ensure that your littlest family member is always in safe hands. Safety is our top priority in the studio, and I take every precaution to make sure your newborn is comfortable and well-cared for throughout the session.

It’s recommended to capture newborns in their first 2 weeks when they are still super sleepy and their movements are minimal. However, if you miss that window, don't worry! Sessions with babies 6-8 weeks old are still absolutely possible and can have wonderful results.

Newborn sessions typically last between 1-2 hours, depending on how settled your little one is. These sessions can either take place in our studio (portrait style) or, for a more relaxed feel, we offer lifestyle sessions in the comfort of your own home (documentary style). During the session, we focus on capturing beautiful, timeless images of your newborn, including family, sibling, and individual baby portraits.

Styled individual baby portraits

All images delivered via an online gallery for easy viewing, downloading, and sharing
It’s highly recommended to book your newborn session while you are still pregnant to ensure we have availability around your baby's arrival.

Birth Photography

For many mums-to-be, having a professional birth photographer is becoming an essential part of their journey. Birth photography allows you to capture one of the most incredible, transformative, and emotional moments of your life. What to Expect
Birth photography can be subject to hospital policies and care-provider permissions. We can assist you with letters to send to your healthcare provider to request permission for a professional birth photographer. It's crucial to clarify the details with your hospital and care team before booking, especially for caesarean sections, as photography in theatre may not always be allowed. Some hospitals are more open to birth photography than others, so it’s best to discuss this ahead of time.
