This is a very tame example, so consider this your warning before you sit in my chair. We’re about to become very close friends while I inspect your face from every possible angle. 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽💁🏽‍♀️

In a world of deadlines, endless to-do lists and juggling a hundred different things, this is my little reminder to you to pause… and take care of you. 🤍

One thing I always tell my brides is that planning a wedding is no small feat. It’s exciting, emotional and sometimes overwhelming all at once. But your wedding day will be here before you know it. Don’t forget to soak up this season of being fiancées too. Those moments are just as special. ✨

Whether you’re planning a wedding, building a career, raising a family, or simply navigating life’s different seasons… the same reminder still applies.

Even ten minutes spent doing something that nourishes your mind, body or soul can help you feel more grounded and reconnect with yourself.

And my friends, self-care isn’t always the beautiful, aesthetic version we see online. Sometimes it’s setting boundaries, asking for help, going for the walk you didn’t feel like taking, or simply allowing yourself to slow down and just be. Those quiet moments matter more than you realise.

From Betzy’s bridal trial right through to the wedding morning, we kept refining her look together until it felt just right. My biggest goal is always for my brides to feel comfortable, confident, and completely themselves when they look in the mirror.

This one was such a full-circle moment for me. The last time I saw Betzy was years ago while I was still studying makeup in college. To now have the honour of getting her ready to marry the love of her life is something I’ll never take for granted.
