1. More makeup doesn’t always mean better makeup
Sometimes adding more and more product can actually take away from the overall look. I’d much rather build the makeup up where it’s needed and keep everything looking balanced.

2. Makeup should enhance, not erase
I don’t think makeup should make you feel like you need to completely change your face. I love enhancing the features that are already there while still making you feel like yourself.

3. There’s no universal “right” way to do makeup
What works for one person might not work for someone else. Everyone has different skin, features and preferences, so makeup should be personalised rather than following one set of rules.

4. Natural makeup still takes makeup
Natural makeup can actually take just as much time and thought as a full glam look. The goal is usually to make everything look effortless, which can take a lot of work behind the scenes.

5. False lashes aren’t mandatory
I love lashes, but I don’t think everyone needs them. Sometimes mascara or a really soft lash is enough to finish the look, especially if you want something more natural.

6. Texture doesn’t mean your makeup is bad
Skin has texture. It’s completely normal. I don’t think makeup needs to look completely filtered or airbrushed in real life to be considered good makeup.

There isn’t one perfect way to do makeup. It’s about finding what works for you, your features and the look you actually want. 🤎🤍
