I get asked a lot what the difference is between the permanent straightening and keratin so here it is 😉

PERMANENT STRAIGHTENING
* It can give a very straight result depending on hair type
* It gets rid of frizz
* It grows out therefore lasts approx 6mths before your regrowth will need redoing
* It can’t be used over any bleached hair eg foils
* It will dry your hair to some extent, best used on heathy hair
* No need to iron afterwards it will generally be wash and wear
* You can’t wash your hair or tie your hair up for 48hrs after service
* Service takes approx 3hrs
* Must wait minimum 1 week before permanent coloring, best to colour after as it will remove some colour

KERATIN
* Relaxes curl gives different results depending on the hair type
* It gets rid of frizz
* Can be used on all hair types
* It lasts 8-12wks with aftercare shampoo and conditioner
* This is a coating on the hair therefore doesn’t cause damage or change internal hair structure
* It will leave your hair feeling silky soft, shiny and healthy
* This is designed to halve the time it takes to do your hair and make it much more manageable
* When heated it will go smooth and silky very easily
* Can still be scrunched and worn wavy but without the frizz
* You can wash your hair anytime after service
* Service takes approx 21/2hrs
* Recommended to wait 1 week before or after coloring, if lightening recommended prior

This lovely lady had Permanent Straightening 2yrs ago so only the regrowth was needed. Even though permanent straightening isn’t recommend on highlighted hair. We performed a strand test on the mid section and surprisingly her strong hair tolerated it with minimal effects. This meant we were able to go ahead with the service ❤️ The clients hair is always my number one priority and there will be times where unfortunately it may not be suitable
