Cutri and Co. Barber Shop

With deep sadness, we share that Cutri & Co as we know it is coming to an end.

This is not a decision we have made—or one we wanted to make. As we reach the ten-year mark of Cutri & Co, our landlord has decided not to exercise the next option on our lease, as she intends to sell the shop and place it on the market vacant.

When I (Frances) first found out, there were a lot of tears. Within two hours I had plans to relocate the entire shop, but after taking a breath and allowing ourselves some time to think, we realised the right decision was not to rush. Instead, we’ve chosen to merge our business with a dear friend and former colleague, Jake, and we’ll be working from his shop in Five Dock.

Our number one priority over the past ten years has always been you—our clients. We have shown up for you 50 weeks of every year, starting early and staying back late, because without you, none of this would have been possible.

Working from Five Dock means we’re still close to you all, and it allows us to continue cutting hair with no break between closing our Rozelle shop and starting this next chapter. Jimmy will also remain close to the area.

Everything you know and love will stay the same: the same email, the same booking system, the same prices, the same Instagram. We’ll also provide a mobile number you can contact us on. The only change is a slightly different location.

Many of you have been with us for the past ten years, and you are so much more than clients. You’ve become friends and family. We’ve shared so much of life together, and we are incredibly grateful. Jarrod and I are deeply saddened by the end of the shop as we know it. Jimmy has recently joined the team, and we’ve loved having him and the energy he’s brought. This shop has been our home—our safe space, our therapy, and our joy—and it will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being part of the best decade of our lives.

We will be in Rozelle for all of February and will be working from Five Dock from March. We’ll share the exact location of our new workspace next week.

MEET JIMMY!

Thursday are our busiest day and we want to make it easier for you to get an appointment on Thursdays and Thursday nights! We are excited to introduce to you our new team member Jimmy!

Jimmy is a very talented barber and he has a lot of passion for what he does! We have been very patient and made sure that the person we add to our team was going to be the right one for us and most importantly you!

Jimmy loves NRL and loves a good chat! We can’t wait for you to meet him.
