Curious about whether you have skin that's dry or dehydrated—and how to tell the difference?

☀️ Dry skin is a skin TYPE. If you have dry skin, you'll find that your skin has a lack of oil, which is caused by fewer oil-producing glands on the face and body. Dry skin will feel rough, appear dry and can be flaky.

☀️ Dehydrated skin is a skin CONDITION. If you have dehydrated skin, you have a lack of water in your skin — not oil! This is caused by external factors like hot showers, sun damage or environmental pollutants. Dehydrated skin will look dull, feel tight and rough, show fine lines and is sensitive.
