My nightmare as a MUA/Hairstylist: Part 3 (Different day, different chaos)

Leaving my shoes outside a client's house on a quiet suburban street should be 100% safe, right?

Because it was an Asian household, I automatically took my boots off at the front door. After finishing makeup and hair, lots of family and friends have already arrived.

When it was time to leave, I went to find my boots where I left them. Looked everywhere, but nobody seemed to know where they went.

I stood there in disbelief! They were actually gone.

I had to haul my heavy equipment down the concrete and onto the street like a runaway orphan! Driving barefoot was… oddly strange.

Do you think my boots are living a better life out there without me? 👢😭

My nightmare as a MUA/Hairstylist: Part 2 (Different day, different chaos)

If you know Lancemore Mansion Hotel Werribee accommodation carpark, it’s a long walk to the Hotel ! The key could have dropped anywhere at the car park, along that long walkway, in the lobby or up in the hotel room! Honestly, I couldn't even remember where my spare key was at that point!

Massive shoutout to amazing for having super eyesight and finding my key!🤍

My nightmare as MUA/Hairstylist: PART 1

Walked out to find my car interior completely swimming. All because I wound down my window in a literal downpour just to make sure I was surviving a dark and steep 6:00am park... then my forgetful brain forgot to wind it back up. 😭

My leather seat was fighting for its life and my freshly washed down jacket too.

I sometimes get asked this question. To create low updos last, it’s packed with heavy duty products, backcombing, and locked pins. Pulling it down yourself leaves the hair with a sticky, crimped mess, not the gorgeous, fresh half up curls you see at the end of this video!
