Thai Massage Thai massage or ancient massage is a type of massage in Thai style, which is a branch of Thai traditional medicine. It focuses on pressing, kneading, squeezing, bending, pulling, and steaming and compressing, which is generally known as "ancient massage". Therapeutic massage is an action to examine, diagnose, treat, cure, prevent disease, and promote and restore the body using the art of Thai massage, including Thai traditional medicine methods. And must be a person who has a Thai traditional medicine license, Thai massage type (P.T.N.) or a Thai traditional medicine license, Thai medicine type (P.T.W.) issued by the Thai Traditional Medical Council only.
Therapeutic massage is divided into 2 lines: Royal court and Chaloem Sak line.
Royal court massage Because the target group of this massage is High-ranking royals, those with titles and ranks in the palace, therefore, massage is designed to focus on using only fingers and hands. And the postures used in massage are polite and gentle. There are many requirements for learning. Those who are experts in this profession will work in the palace as royal physicians, with salary, title and position.
Prisoner-style massage is a massage used at the common level with general postures. There are not many patterns or rituals in massage. In addition, other parts of the body such as knees, elbows and feet can be used to help save energy in massage. Which is different from royal massage that focuses on using only hands.

Massage for health, known as relaxation massage or often called Thai massage, is a massage to restore and promote health only. It has no effect on treatment or treatment of disease. The masseur may have graduated from a 150-hour health massage training or other institutions that do not have a Thai medical license.
