As a skincare formulator, there are certain products and claims I choose to stay away from — not because they aren’t trendy, but because I care about safe, realistic and properly formulated skincare.
Skincare should not rely on fear-based marketing or impossible promises.
• SPF products require proper lab testing and regulations. This is not something I'll be attempting to make
• Healthy brightening is very different from skin bleaching
• Water-based skincare needs preservation to help prevent mold and bacteria
• Real skincare results need consistency. They don't happen overnight
