We are ‘Jute Pad‘, and we’ve been making eco-friendly sanitary napkins in Bangladesh since 2019. We collect organic jute from farmers and wastage jute from manufacturers and make jute pads using eco-friendly plastic sheets. We make this pad biodegradable and compostable and provide it at low cost to those who are not getting the benefit of using the pad due to high cost or lack of awareness. We started this initiative because 80% of women in developing countries are being deprived of using sanitary pads to meet their needs. We think we must come forward in their need.

We are 'Jute Pad', and we've been making eco-friendly sanitary napkins in Bangladesh since 2019. Md. Jobair (Founder) and Salah Uddin Shuvo (Co-Founder) innovate Jute Pad to solve the problem of women's health and environmental issues. We collect organic jute from farmers and wastage jute from manufacturers and make jute pads using eco-friendly plastic sheets. We make this pad biodegradable and compostable and provide it at low cost to those who are not getting the benefit of using the pad due to high cost or lack of awareness. Problem:
The Developing Country Women menstruation time they use old rags which are not comfortable and hygienic, leading to illnesses and absence from work.

Average 80% of the women In Developing And Poor Country don’t use sanitary napkins, because they can’t afford it ( tno.nl and ipsnews.net/2019)

40% of schoolgirls are reported missing school during menstruation. Cannot afford sanitary napkin (Dhaka tribune 2019/07/06 .unicef.org)

When soiled sanitary napkins are flushed or thrown into a water body, they contaminate water. It can disrupt the water, biodiversity and can introduce harmful organisms in the food chain, (observerbd 14/22019) The Factor Affecting of Life Below Underwater.

Plastic sanitary napkins make at least 10000+ tons of garbage! Every Year In The World, 600 years to degrade, burned for disposal generating CO2 & toxic carcinogenic fumes. The Factor Affecting climate change.

Solution:
So we Innovate Jute pad which very cheap price and, do not contain any bleach or chemicals, degrade within 6.1 months of disposal. Jute pad is 90% compostable and biodegradable and reducing CO2 production. We eliminate 50 kg of pad waste, per woman, in her lifetime.

How We Implement It:

* After 1 year we will stay at a break-even point
