Anticipating the future prospects of baby hygiene products in Bangladesh market and with rapid economic development, Bashundhara Paper Mills Ltd. A concern of Bashundhara Group undertook a visionary step to produce baby hygiene products, specially, Baby Diaper under the Brand Name Bashundhara Baby Diaper in 25 March, 2011. Those baby products were made with high quality imported raw materials like fluff pulp, Super Absorbent Polymer, Acquisition & Distribution Layer, Adhesive etc and produced suiting to local environment and practices using state of the art technology. Before this, not only diaper but also all the other baby items were imported from Turkey, UAE, Singapore and Thailand in Bangladesh. Thereby, it was a brave initiative by Bashundhara to introduce first branded Baby Diaper in the country which was a giant leap for the country towards self-sufficiency.
